Overview:

The Senior Electrical Engineer plays a crucial role in the organization, overseeing the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. They are responsible for providing technical expertise, leading projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality electrical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components

Leading and managing electrical engineering projects from conception to completion

Ensuring compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards

Conducting feasibility studies and cost estimates for electrical projects

Collaborating with other engineers and professionals to create integrated electrical solutions

Performing detailed calculations to develop construction and installation standards

Preparing and reviewing technical reports, drawings, and specifications

Providing technical support and troubleshooting expertise during project execution

Overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment

Supervising and mentoring junior electrical engineering staff

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Proven experience in electrical design, development, and implementation

Knowledge of AutoCAD and other electrical design software

Strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations

Excellent project management and organizational skills

Ability to conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates

Proficient in conducting detailed calculations for construction and installation

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and equipment

Experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff
