The client is seeking a talented Sr. Electrical Engineer PE, with experience in K12 and Healthcare Building Design. The client is looking for someone driven to surpass expectations and dedicated to aligning the built environment with the design vision. You'll provide valuable insights to project teams across diverse construction projects, helping the client achieve their objectives. Simply put, they seek only the top talent.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The engineer will be responsible for working with engineering team members and coordinating consultant responsibilities of studies, design, or construction documents of various scale projects.
- Collaborate in a team environment with our integrated engineers, architects, and interior designers across our Austin, Houston, and San Antonio offices.
- Conduct site surveys and liaise with electric utility providers to assess renovation or new construction requirements.
- Design building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm/low voltage systems.
- Prepare and coordinate construction documents for small to medium-sized projects.
- Review construction administration tasks and perform site inspections during the build process.
- Stay up-to-date with codes, standards, and guidelines related to building design.
- Utilize software for electrical load calculations, short circuit analysis, and lighting design.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their growth.
- Develop and implement solutions to electrical system challenges through cross-discipline collaboration.
SUCCESS IN THE ROLE
A successful candidate will be passionate, and driven self-starter. Along with;
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proficiency in Revit required
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
