Find your place in technology of #TeamAmex.How will you make an impact in this role?You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment as part of the Servicing Engineering team supporting platforms for American Express customers
You should be familiar with modern software development methodologies and be able to dive deep and rapidly iterate on ideas despite ambiguity.Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Collaborate with software engineers to ensure scalability and reliability.Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends.Participate in cross-functional team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge sharing activities to foster innovation and continuous improvement.CI/CD Implementation: Implement and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.Working in Agile Environments: Experience with Agile methodologies and practices.Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Strong analytical skills to solve problems and troubleshoot issues
Minimum QualificationsDegree in Computer Science with 8+ years of experienceProficient in Programming Languages: JavaScript and React.Fundamentals & knowledge of the DOM.Experience writing adaptive and responsive UI applications.Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational/NoSQL databases.Experience with object-oriented design and coding with variety of languagesKnowledge of HTML5, React, Redux, Angular, and Node.Experience with automated tested and unit testing (Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library).Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environment and their frameworks (Git, Jenkins)Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Architecture design and modeling: should possess strong skills in designing and modeling complex systems and architectures.Ability to create scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions that meet business requirements.Docker and Kubernetes Proficiency: Proficient with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying updated with industry trends.Leadership and communication: lead teams and collaborate with stakeholders, so strong leadership and communication skills are essential.Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.QualificationsSalary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition
