Senior Estimator - PTS Advance

PTS Advance is looking for a strong Senior Estimator with experience supporting Architectural Design and Constructions firms. In this role the Sr Estimator will play a key role in supporting the Project Management team with critical cost estimations for time, labor, and services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide the Project Manager and superintendent with detailed project estimate information.
• Adhere to all company estimating policies, ensuring responsible and accurate estimates.
• Conduct site visits to ensure accurate preparation of estimates.
• Consult with the coordinator, clients, vendors, or relevant parties to discuss, formulate, and resolve estimate-related issues as directed.
• Submit estimates for review by the Senior Leadership Team and CEO.
• Draft professional proposals for customer submission.
• Analyze bid documents and develop a competitive bid strategy.
• Complete internal estimates, including quantity surveys, summary sheets, and unit/crew pricing.
• Coordinate subcontractor/vendor solicitation by developing a list, determining document needs, writing bid memoranda, and communicating addenda and specific instructions.
• Create the cut and add document for final revisions.
• Finalize the proposal or bid form with qualifications, exclusions, cost breakdowns, and other necessary bid requirements.
• Conduct studies to establish standard hours and cost data for cost reduction.
• Prepare an "As Bid" budget for acquisition purposes.
• Organize estimating documents for the handoff meeting with the Project Manager.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of two years of related experience
• Experience with General Construction preferred
• Ability to utilize mathematical skills such as probability and statistics
• Experience with Microsoft Office
