We are looking for a well-connected and intellectually curious Senior Executive Recruiting Manager, Engineering who can drive and own the recruiting efforts of external executive talent for Microsoft. This role encompasses all stages of the hiring process including partnering with client stakeholders, other talent acquisition professionals, and Human Resources (HR) business partners on succession planning, position strategy and candidate requirements, as well as developing sourcing strategies to target and assess top executive talent and negotiating and closing offers.? Ability to build internal and external networks is key, along with a solid foundation of executive recruiting skills and experience.?This role will also be accountable for driving and maintaining a competitor strategy for executive talent acquisition at Microsoft, to ensure that we identify, target, and engage with the top talent in today's technical marketplace.??

**Responsibilities**
+ You will lead the implementation of a short- and long-term hiring plan for complex organizations, areas, or talent pools. You'll also use a compelling message to differentiate Microsoft's unique career possibilities.
+ By owning the entire candidate experience, you'll prepare them for the next phase of the hiring process while proactively identifying factors that may adversely affect them. You'll also create an innovative sourcing strategy, including ways to generate differentiated talent for a division, set of countries, or subsidiaries.
+ You will manage the candidate assessment framework and screening process, while identifying top practices for both. You'll also hold your team accountable for maintaining candidates' qualifications and status in the appropriate systems, and lead the optimization of staffing policies throughout the organization.
+ You will move high-level candidates through the hiring process while ensuring their needs are met and driving solutions that balance the client's needs. You'll also present businesses with broad talent gaps and hiring needs, and market and channel insights to drive hiring plans.
+ As a manager, you will help employees develop skills through mentorship and other means, while also establishing performance expectations and ensuring fair and equal treatment. You'll also identify needs and set priorities to drive project execution, and partner with other teams on related deliverables.

**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 4+ years executive talent acquisition experience
+ 3+ years formal managerial experience
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role
+ OR Master's Degree AND 8+ years talent acquisition experience (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 4+ years executive talent acquisition experience in an engineering organization
+ 5+ years people management experience, preferably with 4 or more direct reports
Talent Acquisition M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
