Microsoft's Margin Strategy and Investment Optimization (MSIO) team is an exciting and fast-evolving finance team at the forefront of Microsoft's Cloud-first strategy.
This role is in the Cloud Infrastructure Strategy, Planning & Delivery (CISPD) finance team, under the MSIO organization, and is responsible for supporting delivering cloud capacity at the right time, right place and right cost for a new Microsoft 1st party (1P) program. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Finance Manager to provide outstanding financial expertise to drive end-to-end (E2E) of Supply Chain financials associated with a new program. This Finance role will be instrumental in supporting & influencing our operational strategies that are critical to enabling the success of Microsoft's growing Cloud's business.

**Responsibilities**
The successful candidate will bring a combination of financial and technical insights, real world business and supply chain experience, leadership, and influence skills to drive superior financial results in close alignment with our business partners, ensuring controls and compliance, creating new standard operating procedure while continuously looking for opportunities to improve processes and providing predictability by active monitoring of risks and opportunities. Lastly, this role will collaborate with Microsoft partners globally, including Engineering, Tax, Treasury, Trade, Sourcing and Business Operations.
+ Own and lead E2E financials of new Microsoft 1P product. Manage sillicon demand/supply planning, CapEx and COGS forecasts, generation over generation transitions, supply buffer strategy, and opportunity and risk management & proactive mitigation.
+ Perform financial analysis to deliver key business insights and recommended growth & mitigation strategies including various insightful business scenario analyses. Review and present with stakeholders and leadership.
+ Build and drive forecast accuracy, efficient and compliant close/forecast activities, and fiscal year budgets aligned with business priorities and goals.
+ Effective at managing competing priorities, being agile and comfortable in dealing with ambiguity.
+ Partner and influence key Stakeholders across cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Operations, Finance and Business. Work closely with other team members across teams to ensure a seamless flow of information and key business assumptions. Build solid working relationships that foster an environment of collaboration and information exchange.
+ Develop reports and communications that are audience specific to ensure clarity, drive alignment, and enable effective management and decision-making
+ Improve efficiency and effectiveness of core finance activities through enhanced reporting, automation, process excellence and detailed analytics. Simplify and automate processes, systems and tools in respective finance areas to enable scale

**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
+ OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
+ OR equivalent experience.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or Finance work experience
+ OR Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 1+ year(s) experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.
+ 1+ year(s) work experience in matrix-based organization.
+ 1+ year(s) work experience in the technology or software industry.
+ Previous accounting experience in Cloud, supply chain, Sourcing, Pricing and/or multi-national companies
+ Proven analytical and strategic thinking
+ Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
+ Demonstrated systems and process improvement experience
+ Highly collaborative and comfortable dealing with ambiguity, influencing across multiple complex organizations, creating effective internal business partnerships
+ Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, have keen attention to detail, and work effectively under deadlines
Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
