About the Job
Key Responsibilities:
Direct Costs
- Prepare and support BMW Group planning submissions (actuals / forecasts / budgets / ad-hoc requests) in adherence with BMW Group reporting guidelines for direct costs
- Monthly reporting of direct costs including compilation and execution of variance reports for actuals comparing to prior year, plan, and target
Support the management and business units with summaries, presentations, and monthly reporting. - Perform monthly actual to commitment, budget (target) and forecast variance analyses and identification of drives for deviations
- Derivation of short-term and strategic measures together with the business units and management to improve the operational efficiency and to support achievement of cost targets
- Provide financial consultation with managers by recommending cost efficiencies and conducting financial analyses
- Technical and financial consulting of the business in the early stadium of new business ideas, proposals, and tenders
- Preparation of decision templates including an aligned financial decision recommendation
- Ensure proper controls are implemented with local finance systems and recommend internal controls where needed
- Ongoing improvement of reporting tools and processes (e. g. by utilization of business intelligence reporting tools)
Financial evaluations for Corporate and Special Sales
- Financial evaluation and approval of corporate and special sales offers as proposed by product and sales
- Detailed model-based calculation of contribution margin based on product configuration and specification (vehicle builds) provided by product and sales
- Consultation of product and sales in an early stadium of contract negotiation to optimize product mix and configuration and to increase the overall profitability of the offer
- Coordination of corporate and special sales topics with the Controlling Manager and preparation of decision templates for the management
Risk Reporting
- Regular exchange with local managers and collection and consolidation of potential risks for BMW NA
- Coordinate reporting of risks towards local management and the headquarter

The pay range for this role is: $86,084.00 - $101,275.00.
The selected candidate's education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting/Controlling or Economics
- 5+ years experience in Finance / Controlling / Accounting / Strategic Planning
Preferences:
- Master's Degree or C.P.A.
- 3+ years experience in BMW Group with knowledge of BMW Group planning
- 3+ years automotive background
- Experience in sales organization and central BMW AG processes
