Position Purpose:
The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A will work as part of a team that is responsible for planning the near-term and long-term needs for the Company to sustain its growth and profitability targets. In this role, you will be interfacing with managers responsible for overseeing the Company's operations. You will need to understand the unique requirements of each department, which will enable the team to deliver positive operational results and assist the Finance department to forecast more effectively. This role demands the ability to lead projects and influence outcomes by having a view of the big picture and a firm grasp of the underlying data. You will be working in a team of driven, highly motivated professionals dedicated to providing high-quality information to support decision-making for the Company's success.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred
- 5 to 7 years relevant experience with progressive advancement in SaaS-based companies.
- Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to convey complex analyses with simplicity
- Expert-level knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Robust financial modeling capabilities; experience with Adaptive Planning strongly preferred.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in delivering value-added project results through both individual and team efforts, as well as in influencing others without direct reporting authority.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
- Assist with preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Track and oversee SaaS KPIs and build out BI dashboards
- Oversee and analyze projects focused on key strategic initiatives for the Company
- Develop complex financial models, identify key issues, convey results and propose alternatives to managers in a concise manner
- Interface with all levels of staff while acting as a consultant to business stakeholders
- Support executive leadership by providing timely ad hoc reporting on critical issues
- Proactively analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement / best practices
- Support commission plan design, analysis, presentation, calculations and reporting
- Assist with M&A and capital raising due diligence, when applicable

- Comfort working at various levels from strategic / high-level projects to detailed analyses
- Ability to handle multiple projects under strict deadlines as well as to manage with little direction

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Must be able to sit for much of the workday with periodic walking and/or standing.
- Must be able to work in a home or office environment.
- This role requires minimal travel for training and office meetings & functions in Grand Rapids, MI, estimated travel is 5-10%.
- This position is full-time.
- The position is remote within the U.S. when not traveling.
