We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our high-performing finance team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to drive financial performance and influence strategic decision-making processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis and other projects requested by senior management.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop complex financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
2. Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.
3. Supporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis.
4. Prepare monthly financial reports, trends, forecasts, and financial statements.
5. Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.
6. Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
7. Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools.
8. Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI in marketing programs, menu pricing, new store rollouts as well as new projects.
9. Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA highly preferred.
2. 5+ years’ experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
3. Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
4. Proficient in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP, SEC rules and regulations including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
5. Experience in working with QAD, NetSuite, and Advanced Excel skills.
6. Proven ability to perform strategic planning and priority setting for a finance department.
7. Proactive problem solver with the ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
8. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial data to non-financial colleagues.
9. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
