We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst for our Gallagher Bassett FP&A Team!
This individual will take ownership of reporting and operations for claim volume, headcount and associated expenses. The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), including expertise in detailed analyses, financial modeling, and process improvements. This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team, making a significant impact through strategic insights and operational excellence.
Responsibilities include:
- Compiles and analyzes financial information for an organization.
- Develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations.
- Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.
- Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management.
- Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- Leads and directs the work of others.
- May manage/coordinate the work of more junior staff.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years related experience required.
- Strong Excel and financial management software skills are essential.
Preferred:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field is preferred.
- Advanced Excel Skills: Demonstrated expertise in Excel, including experience with financial modeling and complex data analysis.
- Experience with Data Visualization Tools: Proficiency with Tableau and/or Power BI for creating insightful reports and dashboards.
- Process Improvement Experience: Proven track record in identifying and implementing process improvements and automating workflows.
- Detailed Analytical Experience: Strong background in performing detailed financial analyses to support decision-making.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Experience: Relevant experience in FP&A roles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
