Discovery: Identifying the data an agent needs to perform effectively and determining where this data is stored.
Authentication: Securely obtaining the necessary credentials for agents to access information.
Ingest: Cataloging and organizing the accessed data, and defining its governance.

About the Role
We’re a team of engineers who have built and hacked global-scale identity systems, backed by a16z and the founders and investors of leading startups and major identity companies.We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in SF or NYC, and are excited to work with you on our search! As a Software Engineer at Statics, you will be an essential part of the product development dialogue, working to enhance the developer experience in helping AI agents access the right data.
- Building a React page to help developers debug an AI agent’s authentication flow
- Building a new REST API route to enable developers proactive refresh authentication cookies
- Building end-to-end passkey support to give AI agents an easier time to authenticate to passkey-supporting websites
- Something you thought would help developers better adopt Statics and/or make our life easier
- 4+ years of experience as a SWE
- You are elegant yet pragmatic in your engineering approaches. You write good code, fast.
- You have some kind of spike: did exceptional work at a previous company, identified and joined a top startup early, excelled at a top school, or something else impressive
- Has a history of getting promoted quickly at the listed companies.
- You have built AI agents before (even in hackathon projects) or are highly engaged in the AI developer community
- Startup/high-growth experience is highly preferred
