Position Overview:
Our new Senior Graphic Designer will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role is for a creative who doesn’t just design but builds – crafting meaningful and cohesive visual experiences across multiple platforms for a portfolio of brands. You’ll work closely with our marketing, branding, and leadership teams across our portfolio of brands (internal customers) to conceptualize and deliver compelling creative that drives our message and brand identity forward. Key Responsibilities:
+ Creative Vision & Strategy: Lead the creation of innovative designs that align with SPG’s and SPG’s brands’ identity and business objectives across digital, print, and social media.
+ Brand Development: Build and evolve our visual brand guidelines, ensuring a consistent and cohesive look across all platforms.
+ Responsible for the creation and production of a wide array of company branded materials including brochures, sell sheets, print & digital advertisements, social media graphics, presentations, event assets, exhibit displays, signage and other collateral as needed.
+ Takes ideas from concept to execution by working closely with our internal and external partners to deliver completed projects within deadline.
+ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, and leadership teams to create design solutions that enhance the user experience to effectively communicate the value proposition of SPG and our portfolio of brands.
+ Project Ownership & Management: Lead projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution. Working smart, efficiently and creating SOPs as we continue to grow graphic design services.
+ Mentorship & Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
+ Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of design trends and best practices, bringing fresh ideas and a passion for innovation to the table.
+ Functions as a brand steward to ensure brand standards and guidelines are maintained with our cross-functional and external partners.
Skills & Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Design or Multimedia.
+ 5+ years of professional graphic design experience within an enterprise. Insurance / Financial institutions a plus. Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in both digital and print design.
+ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.), Canva and/or other relevant design tools.
+ Excellent communication skills and ability to present ideas and solutions clearly to stakeholders.
+ A builder’s mentality – you're proactive, resourceful, and excited to create and evolve visual identities.
+ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
+ Experience with web design and UI/UX principles is a plus.
+ Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure.
+ Attention to detail – proofreading, aesthetics, among others.

Additional Items (That Will Make You Stand Out):
+ Experience working with XD, Figma, and or other web-based/web design platforms.
+ Experience using and managing a template platform to manage the brand and design assets of a portfolio of companies.
+ Intermediate knowledge of animation, motion, video creation / editing and related software.
+ Experience working in the insurance, finance, or B2B sectors.
Work Location:
+ Position located at 150 N Riverside Plaza, Chicago IL 60606
+ This Is a hybrid role with 3 days in office.
