About the Job
Marcum Search has a full time, direct hire opening for a Senior IT Analyst/Support Technician with a growing law firm in West Los Angeles. The Senior IT Analyst will work with an MSP and other vendors to provide in-house support ensuring a safe and effectively running environment. At least 5 years of technical support, related to troubleshooting hardware, software and light networking is required. This position is hybrid, (2-3 days per week in office) in their West LA office.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to users with setting up and configuring laptops, printers, and any other related devices.
- Provide timely and effective resolution of technical problems remotely or through desk-side support.
- Create user guides when necessary, and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Work with outside vendors.
- Assist with software installations, upgrades, and configurations.
- Perform training for new hires and staff and staff.
- Log and track incidents and service requests through the firm ticketing system.
- Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring proper access levels and administer Active Directory, and Office 365 applications.
- Assist in the implementation and configuration of new hardware and software solutions.
- Work with external IT resource to identify, report, and respond to potential cybersecurity threats.
- Maintain an inventory of hardware, software licenses, and other IT assets, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and legal requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft systems and applications, including Active Directory, Azure, Exchange and Office365 required. Experience with Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
- Familiarity with M-Files or similar document management system preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience working in a help desk or technical support role, preferably at a law or other professional services firm.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or HDI Desktop Support Technician are preferred.

For job requisitions posted to certain locations, Marcum Search is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range. This compensation range is specific to certain locations and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The estimated compensation range is $38.46-$52.88 per hour (equivalent to $80,000-$110,000 annually), depending on experience, plus discretionary bonus.
