Type: W2, no option for C2C or 1099; 40 hrs/wk
Location: On-Site Morrisville, North Carolina
**ERP Implementation is a must have – several years’ experience start to finish – tool selection through go live**
Must also be familiar with projects related to Data Analytics and General Business Platforms, preferably in a manufacturing global organization.
Overview:
The EBS Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple initiatives in the Enterprise Business Systems that includes a large-scale ERP implementation and multiple other initiatives, collaborating with various departments including finance, supply chain, Production, operations, and IT. The role requires a balance of leadership, communication, and technical skills to ensure that Business systems are well integrated into the company’s workflows and processes. This role is critical to driving efficiency and innovation across the organization, ensuring that our business systems align with our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Scope Management:
- Define the project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and risk management strategies.
- Ensure all departments understand the goals and how it impacts their workflows.
- Ensure all stakeholders are aligned during the scope definition phase to promote transparency and commitment.
Cross-Department Coordination:
- Act as the liaison between different departments to ensure all business needs are captured and addressed.
- Collaborate with department heads to align project objectives with their operational goals.
- Facilitate regular meetings with departmental leaders to provide updates and gather feedback.
- Foster a collaborative culture among departments to encourage open communication and teamwork.
Stakeholder Management:
- Maintain strong communication with executives and project sponsors, providing regular status updates.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve any conflicts that may arise between departments.
- Build trust and long-term relationships with stakeholders to enhance collaboration and project success.
Resource Management:
- Allocate and manage internal resources as well as third-party vendors/consultants involved in the projects.
- Ensure team members are clear on roles and responsibilities and are adequately trained.
Risk Management & Issue Resolution:
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, including budget, timeline, and technical risks.
- Lead the resolution of any issues that arise during implementation, including troubleshooting system bugs or process misalignments.
System Integration & Testing:
- Work closely with IT to ensure the applications integrate seamlessly with existing software and databases.
- Oversee the development of test plans, data migration strategies, and system validation processes.
- Ensure comprehensive testing (UAT, functional, performance) is conducted, and the system is optimized before go-live.
Change Management & Training:
- Develop change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of the solution.
- Organize and oversee training programs for end-users to ensure they can efficiently use the tools and Applications.
- Monitor post-implementation support and troubleshoot any issues post-go-live.
- Gather feedback post-training to continually improve training materials and methods for future sessions.
Budget & Financial Oversight:
- Manage the project budget, ensuring spending aligns with project forecasts.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and avoid project scope creep.
Project Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including meeting notes, status reports, and risk logs.
- Prepare executive summaries and presentations for senior management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 end-to-end ERP implementation experiences (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, EPICOR, Salesforce etc.).
- Industry Experience: Experience in manufacturing or supply chain sectors is a plus.
- ERP Expertise: Strong understanding of ERP systems, integration challenges, and best practices.
- EBS Expertise: Strong understanding of Enterprise Business Systems/Platforms, integration challenges, and best practices. (Manhattan, Tradogram, Workday, Enterprise, etc.).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, etc.), ERP systems, data analytics, app development, and business process modeling.
