Senior Project Manager - First Century Bank
First Century Bank is looking for a full time Senior Project Manager to join its team in a hybrid role, working remotely and in-office at the Commerce, Georgia bank location. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing project plans created to onboard new clients, onboard new programs and/or platforms, and/or enhance processes within the organization. This individual will be the designated point of contact for specific projects identified by the leadership team and will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless communication and efficient project execution to develop and maintain the project plan, including required deliverables and metrics for success, assigning responsibilities, assigning timelines, and reporting to designated stakeholders on the progress of each project.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. ​​​​​
- Plans and manages the whole life cycle of the project including the development of deliverables, business objectives, and the translation of these requirements into the project road map to be shared with both internal and external teams.
- Demonstrates commitment, accountability, and ownership for the project and serves as the project advocate.
- Takes the initiative to do what it takes to drive results and continually moves the project forward.
- Provides leadership to the project team and drives projects to meet established objectives.
- Demonstrates flexibility to adapt to changing organizational priorities, and a mindfulness of the implications of decisions.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with project team members and resources.
- Effectively leads multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Leads all aspects of projects, including scheduling execution, status reporting and issue resolution. Coordinates day to day tasks, and key meetings of the designated project teams.
- Acts as primary point of contact, coordinates with partners and all organization functions including IT, Accounting, Operations, Compliance, BSA/AML, and Legal.
- Proactively resolves and escalates issues, as well as communicating status to key stakeholders.
- Work with senior leadership team to ensure effective and constructive client updates are provided as needed.
- Performs such other duties as may be assigned or which inherently or logically belong to the position.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, or other related course of study.
- 7+ years of experience of technical project management, or a combination of experience and education.
- PMP Certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivots and Formulas
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Smart Sheet or similar type of project management software that illustrates project details and timelines in an effective manner for the benefit of both internal and external teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in fintech, banking, and/or payments.
- Experience working with card networks, including but not limited to Visa and Mastercard, is also preferred.
Desired Attributes:
- Proven track record in managing small to medium projects to completion on time.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, managing multiple projects simultaneously across different verticals and departments.
- Proven effective problem-solving skills exhibited by effective collaboration among project team members to resolve issues and drive the project forward. Strong reasoning, negotiation, decision making and consensus-building skills.
- Ability to lead the team in documenting business requirements and then leading them through the conversion of high-level business requirements into process flows, use cases, and process maps.
- A "self-starter" that can take initiative and is solutions driven.
