AccountStaff is currently looking for a Sr. Internal Auditor for a well-known manufacturing company, east of the city. The Internal Auditor will have an opportunity to support all aspects of internal audit, including execution of the annual internal audit plan, coordination of testing, and participation in internal audit special projects.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist towards the completion of the internal audit annual plan by coordinating and performing audits, investigations, and reviews across the organization.
- Prepares audit reports and maintains records of audit findings
- Prepare complete and clear audit working papers which contain sufficient evidence to form and support opinions and recommendations.
- Communicate with managers and process owners during the audit process so they understand the need for effective financial and operational controls.
- Assists in the completion of SOX requirements, key control process walkthroughs and testing.
- Assists external auditors by performing selected audit steps supporting the annual external audit process.
- Conducts sensitive and confidential investigations.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- At least two years of applicable experience in public accounting or internal audit.
- Certified Public Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor preferred/working towards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PDF.
- Ability to analyze data/audit evidence where the objective is to identify issues and implement controls where appropriate.
