SENIOR INVESTMENT ASSOCIATE

This position earns an annual salary starting from $100,000 based on experience and is bonus-eligible. A DAY IN THE LIFE
As the Senior Investment Associate, you will perform high-volume financial underwriting for self-storage transactions and supervise, train, and develop a team of investment analysts. You will also create and deliver deal presentations and maintain updates on the pipeline of deals.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SENIOR INVESTMENT ASSOCIATE
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in the acquisition of commercial real estate (self-storage strongly preferred)
- Experience negotiating letters of intent, performing due diligence, and reviewing third-party reports for commercial real estate
- Highly experienced with underwriting commercial real estate deals, joint venture waterfalls, and ad-hoc modeling
- Proficient with MS Office products (advanced Excel proficiency strongly preferred)
Experience with highly technical modeling and career acquisitions totaling $250 million or more is ideal. Also, experience working for a private equity fund, investment banking, REIT, storage owner/operator, or other investment fund is a plus. You should also have a passion for relationship building, self-development, and team leadership.
WORK SCHEDULE
This position is full-time and primarily onsite. Our typical office hours are between 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.
