About the Job
WellSpark seeks a creative & innovative Senior Learning & Program Development Specialist to develop and support employee well-being learning programs (synchronous and asynchronous) for WellSpark's participants aligned to a biopsychosocial model. They will create, maintain, and enhance learning and program content and resources to support educating participants about their health and supporting client success through ongoing evaluation and refinement of WellSpark's educational materials, resources, and programs.
Principal Accountabilities-
- Create and support the deployment of interactive learning led by WellSpark's coaching teams
- Source and develop content for WellSpark's learning programs
- Provide logistical support for learning program deployment, including train-the-trainer
- Write and edit copy that is part of WellSpark's programs
- Develop workflows, training materials, and job aids to support the implementation of learning programs
- Enhance WellSpark's value proposition using storytelling and microlearning techniques that engage participants
- Develop program overviews, facilitator guides, PowerPoint slides, and other supporting materials for WellSpark's programs; Lead execution of creating custom content, including videos and podcasts
- Support the business in all aspects of participant learning using sound principles of instructional design
- Work with SMEs to develop and maintain a centralized "library" of content resources for WellSpark's coaching team
- Ensure consistency across all supporting documents, job aids, and other participant-facing content that supports WellSpark's programs
- Act as liaison to marketing, legal, translation, and/or other departments for anything related to building, deploying, and/or enhancing participant education
- Develop and maintain SOPs related to program delivery and use of content/resources
- Gather feedback from client success teams and work to continuously improves learning experiences for participants
- Partner with digital and product teams to identify new, innovative, and more efficient ways of deploying learning to drive better engagement
- Search and recommend new and more effective ways to educate participants
- Analyze participant satisfaction/learning data and recommend new educational topics and/or learning methods
Education, Training, Licenses, Certifications-
- Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design or a related field
Relevant Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities-
- 4 - 6+ years designing and delivering training programs, preferably in a wellness/health-related field
- Demonstrated ability to develop on-demand microlearning using rapid authoring tools/principles Ability to work autonomously and comfortable with ambiguity
- Ability to communicate complicated information in a concise, logical, and storytelling manner Demonstrated ability to apply principles of behavior change and adult learning to drive outcomes
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build relationships with SMEs and stakeholders
- Experience facilitating difficult conversations that lead to positive business outcomes/results
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Able to share a portfolio of work demonstrating capabilities
