The Senior Manager, IT Audit is responsible for leading the global IT internal audit department. The Senior Manager will design the audit plan, supervise the execution of internal audits, ensuring audit work is performed in accordance with IIA standards and GXO policies and procedures. This position will also lead a team of external co-source resources to execute audits. Additionally, he/she will be required to liaison the SOC1 reporting program for key clients including the building of strong relationships with GXO site/client management. Finally, this role will also be expected to test/lead testing of SOX controls. This position will report directly into the Global Head of Internal Audit and has room for promotion to Director in the future.

What you'll do on a typical day:
- Direct and supervise all audits (with co-source providers and internal team members) from inception to completion including planning, testing, issue identification, workpaper review and audit reporting.
- As an integral member of the Audit Leadership Team, provide strategic direction and thought leadership in audit approach and execution.
- Actively drive collaborative and proactive relationships with global IA team members and key IT stakeholders, understanding key risks and projects to align our audits accordingly to deliver value added audits.
- Responsible for managing the SOC1 reporting project for multiple key clients. This requires the building and maintaining of site/client relationships to facilitate the successful completion of the SOC1 project in coordination with an external audit firm and strong project management skills.
- Assist in leading the SOX testing program through improvement and standardization of all components of internal control testing.
- Development and mentor staff/seniors in their professional development and motivating the team.

- Supervise the follow-up on audit reports to determine if required action was taken, document and communicate the results of the review
At a minimum, you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 8+ years of audit (internal/external) experience or relevant business experience
- CPA, CIA, or CISA
- Experience in conducting IT internal audit projects as well as SOX testing
- Experience in the SOC-1 process and controls
- Experience in identifying risks/controls, performing process walkthroughs, testing for key controls, and monitoring effectiveness and reporting results
- Ability to work and adapt in fast-paced environment
- Prior public accounting experience
- Prior Big4 experience
