As the Senior Operational Excellence Lead, you will take on intricate challenges, expanding your professional expertise while fostering the growth and development of others.
In this role you'll be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing operational excellence strategies: Collaborate and partner with Information Research (IR), Risk, Security, and Compliance (RiSC) leads, cross-functional BTS partners, and across BTS R&D Information Research to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance operational performance. This will involve streamlining processes, evolving testing and automation tools, or introducing best practices.
- Leading cross-functional improvement initiatives: Drive continuous improvement efforts by identifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvements. This will include conducting root cause analysis, developing action plans, and monitoring progress to ensure successful implementation.
- Establishing performance metrics and reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish reporting mechanisms to track and measure the effectiveness of risk, security, compliance and testing activities. Regularly analyze data and provide insights to senior management to drive informed decision-making and identify areas for further improvement.
- Leading centralized team and programs, continuously looking for opportunities to streamline and simplify complex processes to improve process adoption and advance the delivery of our services for the domains we support.
- Assuming the role of a change agent, effectively communicating enterprise-wide changes to our domains while supporting their learning, understanding, adjustment, and growth within a culture of continuous improvement.
- Utilizing strategic thinking to proactively anticipate future opportunities and develop appropriate mitigation plans to address them.
- Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as compliance officers, testing teams, and senior management, to understand their needs and align operational excellence initiatives accordingly. Foster strong relationships with external partners, such as regulatory bodies or industry associations, to stay informed about emerging trends and best practices. Compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
Experiences that make you a strong candidate for this role:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree +8 years; master’s degree +7 years; PhD +3 years of experience.
- 5+ years leading improvement projects and change management programs.
- 2+ years of experience with IT Compliance, IT Risk, IT Security, and/or IT Audit.
- Experience communicating and presenting both verbally and in writing to various audiences, including committees, large groups, senior management, and executive leadership.
- Proven team builder and leader with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Lean/Six Sigma
- Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task and strong problem resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams towards task completion.
- Experience overseeing geographically distributed and culturally diverse workgroups.
- Knowledge of business and technology trends.
- Strong interpersonal / relationship management skills.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
