Our client’s Strategy and Operations teams bring deep industry experience, rigorous analytical capabilities and a pragmatic mindset to their clients' most complex business problems. Our client’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Restructuring service line uses a structured and disciplined approach to create and capture value by providing corporate and equity buyers with a broad continuum of knowledge and tools for mergers, divestitures, joint ventures and alliances.
The successful Candidate will be able to:
- Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk.
- Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors.
- Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies.
- Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents; participate in public speaking events; get published in industry periodicals.
- Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support.
- Advise clients though execution of the M&A lifecycle of M&A strategy, operational due diligence, divestiture, integration, and restructuring.
- Lead and provide guidance and direction to in-depth assessment of client needs; apply expertise in marketplace leading practices to identify effective technology solutions to meet clients' business needs.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-thread programs including scope definition, objective prioritization, risk management, and issue resolution.
- Expertise in delivering high-quality program outcomes according to the scope, work plan, quality standards and budget.
- Experience in M&A and Restructuring areas such as synergy capture, operational restructuring, cost reduction, shared services, outsourcing, and process redesign.
- Specific experience preferred in planning and implementation of technology integration, separation, and restructuring. (e.g., software, infrastructure)
- Long term relationship management and strong communication and collaboration skills with executive-level stakeholders or clients.
- Demonstrated expertise in planning and organization of business development pursuits and negotiations.
- Experience hiring and developing resources with high-value skills that align with market needs.
- Ability to support development of others by delivering key performance feedback and coaching and demonstrating role-model behavior.
- Expertise in technology development cycle and associated marketplace and corporate standards.
- Demonstrated ability to identify effective technology solutions to meet key client needs, based on internal and external research and leading practices.
- Demonstrated expertise in management or implementation of key technology solutions such as infrastructure, software, and information security.
- Experience in setting strategic direction for complex analytics such as financial analysis and modeling, operational performance improvement analysis, and technology architecture assessment.
- A minimum of 8 years consulting and/or industry experience is required.
- A Bachelor's Degree is required.
- An advanced degree is preferred
- Ability to travel 100% required.
