Job Description Summary
As Chapter Leader - Senior Manager, you will blend engineering knowledge and experience with a passion for coaching and mentoring to deliver scalable and high performing solutions with a cloud-first mindset. You will be responsible for a portfolio of applications and engineering associates assigned to the Core Custody team.
The Role
Our goal at FDA’s Core Custody team is to design and build a suite of digital asset services and investment applications to serve the unique and varying needs of institutional investors. You will be responsible for a portfolio of applications and engineering associates assigned to the Core Custody team. This is an engineering manager role where you will work very closely with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to deliver high quality cloud-based technology solutions to meet business requirements.
The Expertise/ Skills You Bring
- Excellent people leadership skills with demonstrated ability of leading and developing software engineers
- Engineering background with a consistent record of delivering to cloud at scale
- Experience with modern agile engineering approaches, CI/CD practices and focus on operational excellence.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with technology and business partners across Fidelity.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
- Exceptional mentoring and coaching skills, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
