Job Summary:
Northeast Contracting Corporation is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee Commercial Roofing construction projects from start to finish. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage multiple construction projects from inception to completion, including commercial roofing.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and financial targets.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to meet project objectives.
- Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays that may arise.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Attend project meetings, providing updates and addressing concerns raised by team members and stakeholders.
- Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
- Foster a collaborative and positive working environment to maximize team performance and project success.
- Conduct regular site visits as necessary to inspect work progress and quality.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the Commercial Flat Roofing Industry and Metal Wall Panels, with a track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
- Experience with Metal Wall Panels is requested.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate project teams.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management software, estimating software, and Microsoft Office Suite. (SageCRE 300 and The Edge Estimating experience) is a plus but not required
- Thorough understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is a plus
