Senior Network Administrator - VETERANS ENGINEERING INCORPORATED

Veterans Engineering is seeking an onsite Senior Network Administrator for an upcoming project supporting a U.S. Government financial agency. Positions are available nationwide.

Duties include:

• Install, maintain, and coordinate the use of moderately complex software and networks. 

• Provide technical support for network-related issues. 

• Evaluate software and hardware components for effectiveness and security. 

• Develop, review, and maintain security procedures. 

• Troubleshoot complex problems as needed. 

• Implement and coordinate network policies, standards, and procedures. 

• Install network software and manage overall network performance. 

• Train end users on software and network usage.

Experience:

• Experience in maintaining troubleshooting a wide variety of systems and networks to include high volume/high availability systems. Must have knowledge of debugging protocols and processes.

• Experience with conducting routine system administration tasks and logging data in system admin logs.

• Experience with maintaining troubleshooting a wide variety of systems and networks, including high volume or high availability systems.

• Knowledge of debugging protocols and processes.

• Ability to troubleshoot problems and issues identified by customers and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree

• 6 years’ experience.

• Experience with IRS highly desired

• Ability to obtain Public Trust security clearance.
