Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior Network Architect:
– Lead the effort to document standard operational processes for new technology and complex technology installations.
– Train and socialize new processes and technologies to peers and internal support team.
– Work closely with architects to drive improvements to our network reliability.
– Define documentation standards and create in-depth Network Documentation and Architectural network diagrams.
– Regular rotation for on-call after hours and weekend support.
Required Skills for Senior Network Architect:
– Around 10-15 years of experience in network architecture and development.
– Expert Level Network Route Switch Knowledge including BGP, OSPF, and MPLS/LDP protocols.
– Advanced Juniper/Cisco Configuration understanding.
– SDWan vendor Specific Knowledge (Palo Alto CloudGenix).
– Understanding of Azure cloud networking concepts.
