We have an immediate opening for a Senior Oncology Liaison/Marketing Specialist.
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Marketing and Oncology Liaison to join our team. This hybrid role involves both in-person (50%) and virtual responsibilities (50%), aiming to strengthen our relationships with healthcare providers and promote our services. The ideal candidate will be adept at developing and executing marketing strategies, coordinating outreach efforts, and serving as a key point of contact for physicians and healthcare professionals. This position will cover Delaware and Rhode Island, ensuring our presence and engagement in these regions. Traveling will be required for this role to effectively manage in-person responsibilities and foster relationships within each market. The ideal candidate is a collaborative and dynamic professional who can deploy successful marketing strategies using internal and external data to achieve the practice’s goals for annual and long-term growth. He/she must possess patient-facing marketing experience combined with proven abilities to thoughtfully execute email, web, social media, and other programs that bring patients to a physician practice.
The position is also responsible for cultivating a liaison territory through building and enhancing relationships with referring physicians to build awareness and foster growth.
The ideal candidate should be a self-starter; detail-oriented, driven, curious, and wanting to meet and exceed goals. He/she should have creative project management experience, convey an aptitude for staying calm and effective while managing multiple demands, and have experience working in fast-paced and matrixed organizations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to be present within the assigned territory/region during regularly scheduled business hours. The work environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic environment. Work will involve in-person interaction with co-workers and management and/or clients. Work may require travel by automobile, approximately 50% of work week. Sales positions require regularly working outside the office in order to call on clients and build relationships.
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Initiate, engage and work collaboratively with operational leaders, physicians, site managers, and practice staff to understand/evaluate business needs, plan and execute sales and marketing strategies which align with practice goals; seen as expert in field of oncology liaison sales
- Strategically use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues and ensure feedback is communicated/followed up appropriately
- Utilizes market analysis, trends, and performance reporting to develop sales plans and track practice growth
- Initiate, establishes and maintain ongoing communications with referring physicians and/or their office staff, including peer-to-peer, routine or follow-up visits, emails and phone calls
- Support practice growth efforts through practice visits/sales call (in-person and virtual touch points), tumor boards, community events, and cross-business collaboration
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to achieve annual and long-term growth
- Own the practice’s digital footprint - Manage the practice website, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and social media presence
- Develop practice collateral including sales sheets, brochures, patient education materials, etc. - Highlight key services and differentiators
- Manage in outbound and inbound marketing activities by displaying expertise in areas such as advertising, optimization, content development. Develop a local advertising strategy as needed to support practice awareness.
- Implement marketing campaigns, report results to practice leadership, manage marketing budget. Manage vendor relationships with printers, promotional vendors, agencies, designers, media outlets, etc.
- Lead the online reputation management for physicians and practice to increase the number of online reviews, ensure online business listings are accurate, respond to reviews, ensure regular email campaign cadence
- Assist with internal practice communications, such as patient experiences, newsletters, employee engagement, etc.
- Manage events and community outreach/sponsorships
- Executes administrative duties, including managing budget, travel expenses, and timely completion of expense reports
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. Minimum 7+ years of marketing and/or sales experience, in a HealthCare environment.
