Senior Plumbing Designer - Interfuse Staffing

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Plumbing Designer. In this role, you will provide crucial plumbing design services and contribute to the production of detailed construction drawings and specifications for our diverse client base. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who excels in design innovation and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design comprehensive plumbing systems for both large-scale and smaller projects, ensuring functionality and compliance with all regulations.
• Efficiently manage time to meet project design schedules and deadlines.
• Collaborate directly with architects and project owners to align design plans with client needs and expectations.
• Conduct preliminary evaluations to assess project requirements and feasibility.
• Prepare detailed reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant documentation.
• Produce high-quality design documents, including drawings, specifications, and comprehensive reports.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of the International Plumbing Code and NFPA 13
• Must know REVIT and AutoCAD
• Experience in Federal/Municipal Government, Healthcare or Aviation preferred but not required.
• 10 plus years of experience in plumbing design including waste and vent systems, supply systems, roof drain calculations and design, equipment and fixture selection, Shop drawing review, assessment of existing systems and facilities, and field observation and reporting.
• Must be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision to complete work assignments.
• Must be able to work as part of a team and manage multiple projects.
