KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the preconstruction phase of projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and scope development.
• Build relationships with clients & subcontractors.
• Coordinate with project teams, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Lead value engineering efforts to optimize project costs.
• Manage project scope and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and building codes.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior preconstruction team members.
• Act as a liaison between the preconstruction and operations teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management is a plus or related experience
• 10+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on preconstruction
• Strong knowledge of cost estimating and value engineering techniques
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Proficient in Onscreen Take off, Bluebeam, Procore, excel or other bidding, scheduling, or project management software
