Job Overview:

As a Senior Product Designer, you will partner with cross-functional teams across user experience, product management, engineering, and business operations to develop innovative health and wellness experiences. You will drive ideas from Discovery through Delivery, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and quality at every stage. By combining facilitation, visual design, and user experience expertise, you will design solutions that help customers make informed decisions about their health.

This individual contributor role will take ownership of designing for several complex features and initiatives, working closely with business, product, and engineering teams. You will use user-centered design methodologies, design tools, and frameworks to ensure the customer experience is continually elevated.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Design Initiatives: Own the design process for wireframes, user flows, process flows, site maps, interactions, and high-fidelity prototypes for medium to large features in your product area.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with your 4itB team to ensure alignment and consistency in design and user experience quality across initiatives.
• Design System Usage: Leverage and evolve the design system to maintain consistency across products while contributing new guidelines and patterns when needed.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Present and advocate for design ideas, collaborating with cross-functional teams to balance customer and business needs.
• Customer-Driven Design: Ensure design solutions are informed by customer research, continuously identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation.
• Manage Deliverables: Oversee multiple design deliverables, communicate progress with your team, and mitigate risks to ensure on-time delivery.
• User Research: Participate in user research activities and apply insights to evolve design solutions.
• Problem-Solving: Proactively identify high-level issues and opportunities to ensure shipped experiences match design expectations.
• Advocate for Design Thinking: Promote design thinking practices within your team and across the organization.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field.
• Experience: 3+ years designing for large-scale desktop, mobile web, and mobile app consumer experiences.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your design thinking process and end-to-end project work from discovery to delivery.
• Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar design tools.
• Accessibility: Experience designing with WCAG accessibility standards in mind.
• Agile Collaboration: Familiarity with Agile software development practices and working within cross-functional teams.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting concepts and collaborating across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with and contributing to design systems for consistency across platforms.
• Strong understanding of product development processes and how to address challenges across platforms.
• Proficiency in using data analytics and insights to drive design decisions.
• Advanced understanding of usability and user-centered design processes.
• Experience iterating and optimizing experiences using research and data.
