Product Manager must have excellent communication skills with the ability to provide insights and leadership at many levels within the organization, both upward to executive level leaders and downward within their teams
As product concepts are evaluated from the Innovation team, the product manager will assist in commercializing new products and ensuring operational readiness is completed.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:(Other duties may be assigned)Key Responsibilities Maintaining and communicating the product roadmapManaging P&L and facilitating strategic decisionsLeading and communicating strategy and product direction to senior leadershipWorking with internal and external customers and end users to define features that address customer business needs and return maximum value for all partiesRefining and prioritizing the backlog of Epics and user storiesCollaborating with a UX designer to review user journeys and any applicable wireframesCommunicating business and customer value to the team in a manner that sparks curiosity and innovative thoughtWriting and capturing user stories that communicate the product initiatives and requirementsAccepting/rejecting the delivered functionality within each SprintEvaluating and owning new productsWorking closely with customers to facilitate acceptance testing of releases (during pilots)Making ongoing decisions regarding the direction of the product/featuresMaking the final decision whether or not to release product to customersCommunicating openly project and portfolio changes to stakeholdersDisplaying a high level of critical thinking in cross-functional process analysis and problem resolution for new and existing products.Coordinating and building strong working relations with various internal organizations including; R&D, IT, Sales, Marketing, Implementation, & Support.Monitoring internal processes for efficiency and validity pre- & post product launch/changes.Participating in opportunities to develop both personally and professionally.Education 4-year degree in computer science, business, product management, related field or equivalent experienceCritical Skills 7+ years experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager in an Agile environment or equivalent experience working in HealthcareAdditional Knowledge & Skills Prior experience in the healthcare industry - retail pharmacy and/or hospital pharmacy is highly preferred related to 340BAbility to work with a high degree of autonomyExcellent communication & presentation skills (verbal and written)Advanced spreadsheet and numerical analysis skills: business cases, margin and cash flow analysisAbility to exercise tact and good interpersonal skillsGroup facilitation skillsTime management skillsAnalytical skillsProblem solving skillsAbility to be pro-active with a sense of urgencyAbility to read, understand and communicate technical documentationBe a self-starter, a highly motivated person able to work in a fast-paced environment that is continually changingExperience in designing, building, and implementing business solutions using information technology.Candidates must be authorized to work in USA
