To help us with this mission, we’re looking for a world-class Senior Product Marketing Manager to join the team!You will have the opportunity to showcase your GTM expertise and work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product leaders to unlock new growth opportunities, attract new personas and senior-level decision-makers, and drive measurable growth
You’ll be a trusted partner and advisor to our Sales team, equipping them with market and persona knowledge as well as the assets and tools to win more deals
This role is ideal for a customer-focused product marketer skilled at crafting compelling marketing narratives to bring Jira’s unique value propositions to market

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilitiesYou will help Atlassian expand beyond our stronghold in technical teams (devs, IT) to reach their business counterparts (marketing, program management, ops, finance) as we become the system of work for ALL teams across the enterprise! In this role, you will:Help shape Jira’s strategy for reaching new business audiences in a growing market, identifying our strengths, and leading the effort to close gapsEnable our Sales and Partner teams with compelling and high-impact value props, use cases, collateral, sales plays, customer stories, market knowledge, and tools for both IT buyers and non-technical department headsDevelop messaging and positioning of Jira against competitors in the enterprise, and use competitive analyses to uncover differentiators and translate into outbound competitive tacticsUse data to develop strategy, prioritize opportunities, guide decisions, and measure the performance of go-to-market programsDevelop processes to understand customer use cases, package those insights, and promote them in a way that supports business teams within enterprise customers in being successful with JiraBe the passionate voice of enterprise customers by developing a deep (and continuously refined) understanding of the market, buyer personas, ideal customer profile, the buyer journey, etc
and feed insights back to stakeholders to inform go-to-market strategiesBe a trusted partner to the product team and relay customer, sales, and market insights to inform product roadmap decisions and strategyQualificationsQualifications5-7 years of experience in enterprise Product Marketing and/or supporting sales teams in B2B SaaSExpert on enterprise sales cycles and buyer personas with experience enabling enterprise GTM teamsStrong storyteller with exceptional writing and communication skills who can succinctly translate technical features into customer value for external and internal audiencesStructured thinker with demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and mobilize teams across functionsCross-functional aptitude with the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders across from Sales, Marketing, and Product to deliver on a shared vision and goalsBe able to spot opportunities and have an understanding of how to translate customer needs and market demand into messaging, content, and sales enablement to help us meet business objectivesCompensationAt Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs
To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline
Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience
In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones
For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:Zone A: $150,700 - $200,900Zone B: $135,600 - $180,800Zone C: $125,000 - $166,700This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.Please visit go.atlassian.com/payzones for more information on which locations are included in each of our geographic pay zones
