Job Description:
Blue Water Thinking is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Program Analyst to join our team, supporting a large project at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The Senior Program Analyst will support the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) in the analysis and evaluation of healthcare program effectiveness. This role involves conducting program reviews, assessing the quality of VHA programs, and providing recommendations to improve program outcomes and performance. Additionally, the Senior Program Analyst will assist in the execution of program operations and provide critical input for program evaluation and improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of healthcare programs within VHA, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations to enhance program outcomes and performance.
- Conduct systematic program reviews, assessing the quality of current and future VHA programs to determine ways to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Measure program success and outcomes, identifying strategies for improvement and innovation in program delivery.
- Assist VHA in executing program operations to meet established goals and objectives, supporting day-to-day activities as needed.
- Provide input on the organization and management of projects and programs to increase productivity and overall program performance.
- Assist in the identification and allocation of program resources, ensuring that VHA programs are properly supported to achieve their objectives.
- Develop and contribute to program reports that provide insights into program success, challenges, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that programs align with the VHA's mission of improving veterans' healthcare and outreach.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in program analysis and management, with a strong background in evaluating and improving healthcare programs.
- Expertise in supporting government programs, particularly those focused on health care and outreach.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to measure program success and outcomes effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with cross-functional teams and develop detailed program reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working directly with the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) or similar large-scale healthcare systems.
- Expertise in supporting healthcare programs, particularly those focused on veterans' health care and outreach.
- In-depth knowledge of veterans' healthcare programs and outreach initiatives.
- Experience in program improvement methodologies and operational execution within healthcare systems.
Eligibility:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role.
Compensation:
Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000.
