POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:

The Adult Day Program Director, the Senior Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting the director with administrative tasks and oversight of the day-to-day operations in the Adult Day Program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle all emergency situations when the Director is out of the building
• Receive and report absentees to all Adult Day Program staff
• Responsible for all program attendance records
• Complete care plans and update emergency forms accordingly
• Assistant in oversight of the client master list
• Communicate with families
• Complete monthly Adult Day Program Billing
• Create new innovative program activities
• Oversee monthly activity calendars and quality delivery of programming
• Arrange weekly transportation for clients through Able-Ride and Project Independence
• Oversee the lunch program and obtain food handler license
• Maintain staff files including PPD/Physicals, Training certificates; program permits including food handlers, Nassau County food permit DOH.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Possess good judgement

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

• Supervise program assistants, volunteers and task supervise interns

$45,000 - $55,000
