ManTech is seeking a Program Security Officer for our Hanover, MD location. The Program Security Officer is responsible for program, physical and personnel security support for multiple programs supporting an Intelligence Community partner.
In this position the Program Security Officer will engage daily with program personnel, security team members and leadership at all levels. You must be able to communicate effectively, pay attention to detail, be efficient and able to learn new processes quickly. Program Security Officers are required to update our Security database SIMS, submit and work tickets through a ServiceNow workflow. As a Program Security Officer, you will support proposals through clearance verifications, team reviews and authoring security volumes as required. On site 4 days a week. Can work remotely 1 day a week. Travel to customer site locally and for annual meeting in Herndon, VA.
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
Provide Security support and perform a variety of security-related tasks for Collateral and SCI Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) activities
Provide Program Security support and administrative security actions encompassing but not limited to the actions listed
Security Prescreens
Clearance Verifications
Access Control and badging
Visitor Control
Proposal Support
Education and Training
Personnel and Physical Security file maintenance
Document Control
Visit Access Requests
Initial, Upgrade and Periodic Reinvestigation Requests
Clearance Indoctrinations Briefings and Debriefings
Maintains and tracks Accreditations and ATO’s
Support govt. inspections and continuous monitoring
Additional security tasks as required by Customer Security
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
Basic Experience:
Experience performing a variety of security-related tasks for SCIF Activities
2 more years of relevant security experience as an individual contributors
Experience with DISS and Scattered Castles
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must have an active/ current TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
The projected compensation range for this position is $71,800.00-$119,500.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
