Microgrid Project Developer - ABM eMobility Solutions
ABM eMobility Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Microgrid Project Developer to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will play a key role in developing and implementing innovative microgrid solutions for our clients, helping them achieve energy independence, cost savings, and sustainability goals.
Responsibilities:
· Project Development (60%)
o Identify and qualify potential microgrid projects, conducting market research and feasibility studies.
o Develop comprehensive project proposals, outlining technical solutions, economic feasibility, and financial models.
o Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other specialists to design and optimize microgrid systems, ensuring alignment with client requirements and regulatory standards.
o Secure project financing through grant applications, partnerships, or other funding mechanisms.
o Oversee the procurement process for microgrid equipment and components, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
· Project Management (30%)
o Manage microgrid projects from conception to completion, adhering to established timelines and budgets.
o Coordinate and oversee the work of contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams involved in the project.
o Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate potential risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
o Ensure clear and consistent communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
o Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records.
· Business Development (10%)
o Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, utilities, and other stakeholders in the microgrid industry.
o Stay up to date on the latest advancements in microgrid technology, policies, and market trends.
o Contribute to the development of ABM's microgrid service offerings and marketing strategies.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
· Minimum 5 years of experience in project development, engineering, or a related field, with at least 2 years focused on microgrids.
· Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing microgrid projects.
· Strong understanding of microgrid technology, components, and design principles.
· Knowledge of relevant regulations, permitting processes, and financial models related to microgrids.
· Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information to diverse audiences.
· Ability to travel as needed.
