Senior Project Manager - Sales & Operations Planning (Tualatin, OR, US, 97062) - LAM Research

The Group You’ll Be A Part Of

You will be joining the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) organization, which is a small team within the Global Order Fulfillment organization. The Global Order Fulfillment organization provides best in class demand planning, order management, and delivery execution for the Global Operations organization.  S&OP is chartered with keeping demand and supply in balance to enable predictable operational execution.

The Impact You’ll Make

In this role you will be pivotal in establishing and driving execution to Lam’s Global Build Plan by defining the global demand plan, determining global capacity and supply chain requirements, and driving execution through robust accountability reviews.   

This role will be located in either Tualatin, OR or Fremont, CA

What You’ll Do

• Analyze Sales forecasts and market trends to develop an 18-month global demand plan
• Establish reviews with Sales Operations & Product Group on bottoms up demand signals
• Partner with global Capacity Planners to identify & mitigate risks to support demand plan
• Use predictive analytics to anticipate Sales Operations & Product Group delivery needs
• Drive continuous improvement to demand plan by measuring & tracking forecast accuracy
• Drive accountability with business partners on bottoms up demand signals

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business or related field
• Twelve (12) years of related experience in Operations Planning, Sales Operations, preferably in the semiconductor industry
• Candidates must have the confidence and communication skills to inform and influence at all organizational levels, including the executive level. 
• Proficient in Microsoft suite, with advanced Excel skills and SAP and CRM experience.  Power BI or other related experience preferred.
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret and utilize data for decision making
• Excellent verbal and written communication with experience influencing stakeholders
• Semiconductor industry or global supplier experience
• Relevant operational or planning certifications such as APICS

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
