We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Property Manager to join our growing team. This is a permanent role that offers an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of properties. The Senior Property Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of property management, from tenant relations to financial oversight, property inspections, and risk management. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of the real estate market, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage all aspects of a diverse portfolio of properties, including commercial, retail, and residential properties.
2. Develop and manage annual budgets, including forecasting and financial reporting.
3. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the properties.
4. Coordinate with vendors for property maintenance and improvements.
5. Handle lease administration, including negotiations, renewals, and enforcement of lease terms.
6. Develop and implement effective risk management strategies.
7. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
8. Maintain strong relationships with tenants, providing high-quality customer service and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
9. Work closely with the facilities management team to ensure the smooth operation of all properties.
10. Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the real estate market and utilize this knowledge to improve property management strategies.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with a focus on commercial and retail properties.
2. A valid California real estate license.
3. Certifications in Property Management (CPM), Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM), and Real Property Administrator (RPA) are preferred.
4. LEED Certification is a plus.
5. Proven experience in lease management, vendor management, risk management, and property inspections.
6. Strong financial acumen, with experience in annual budgeting and financial reporting.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and team members.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other property management software.
9. Experience in managing commercial tenant improvements.
10. A customer-focused approach, with a commitment to providing high-quality service.
11. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
12. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple properties and tasks simultaneously.
