We are currently seeking a qualified Sr. Radiation Therapist to join our team immediately.
Position: Sr. Radiation Therapist Salary: $60.00-$83.62 per hour Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
Role: As a Sr. Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for administering radiation therapy treatments to patients under direct supervision. Your primary focus will be on accurately positioning the radiation beam to target the designated tumor volume and delivering the prescribed dose.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver and Record Radiation Therapy Treatments: Under the guidance of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist, accurately administer radiation therapy treatments to patients. Ensure precise delivery of radiation and maintain accurate records of treatments in the electronic medical record system.
2. Maintain Patient Treatment Parameters: Enter and update patient treatment parameters in the electronic medical record system to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available for treatment planning and patient care.
3. Clinical Instruction: Assist in providing clinical instruction to newly hired therapists and students, sharing knowledge and expertise to support their professional development.
4. Appointment Scheduling and Billing: Assist in maintaining the patient appointment schedule and ensure correct billing information is submitted for accurate and timely reimbursement.
5. Block Cutting and Custom Mold Making: Demonstrate accuracy in cutting blocks and creating custom molds as required for radiation therapy treatments.
6. MU Calculations: Complete simple MU (monitor unit) calculations with precision to ensure accurate radiation dosage.
7. Treatment Plan Interpretation: Interpret computerized treatment plans accurately to guide the delivery of radiation therapy according to prescribed protocols.
8. Maintain Clean and Safe Work Environment: Uphold a clean, safe, and organized work environment to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and infection control. These essential duties and responsibilities are critical to providing high-quality radiation therapy services and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
- ARRT certification is required. - Must hold a valid state license for radiation therapy.
- Senior Radiation Therapist: Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience actively practicing as an RTT.
Applicants will be hired into the appropriate position based on their credentials and years of relevant experience.
