About the Job
We are looking for a Senior Sales Executive to join our team in our Orlando's office. This person will actively seek out and engage prospective customers to sell our product and/or services.
Develop sales strategies and attract new clients for our cleaning and maintenance line of products and services. Increase income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads and qualifying prospects.
Responsibilities:
1. Executing sales cycle to penetrate the most promising new accounts.
2. Identifying and building relationships with the appropriate account buyers.
3. Establishing reputation with assigned prospects as a trusted advisor with industry knowledge and the prospects solution need.
4. Proactively identifying potential needs of prospects, recommending best-fit solutions with a clear value proposition for the account.
5. Drive territory sales to achieve annual sales objectives through calling on existing accounts and identifying and developing new accounts.
6. Actively seek accounts thru project tracking for customers that require a high degree of cleaning products and maintenance equipment in targeted market segment.
7. Coordinate sales efforts on major projects within the Region.
8. Developing and maintaining up-to-date expert understanding of PRIME solutions and general understanding of relevant competitor solutions.
9. Researching and actively identifying emerging trends that influence PRIME’s value proposition.
10. Proactively managing pipeline
11. Input, monitor, and update opportunities in a timely fashion.
12. Identifying and coordinating timely involvement of sales operations resources in the sales cycle to improve efficiencies
13. Achieving assigned bookings quota.
14. Provide estimates, provide demos and close deals.
15. Promote and sell products, cleaning services, maintenance equipment and services in an assigned sales territory.
16. Plan sales and gross profit goals for self and territory. Develop yearly objectives for each key account.
17. Maintain accurate, detailed and comprehensive knowledge of the potential of each account in your territory.
18. Develop several high potential prospects to guarantee future sales growth.
19. Build customer and vendor relationships and partnerships through joint planning and sales calls.
20. Communicate with internal customers. Review accounts and strategize with inside customer service and purchasing representation and other support resources; update operations manager on status of accounts and support needed to accomplish goals.
21. Negotiate, monitor and update customer contracts. Communicate product, service and price changes, availability conditions and other pertinent announcements to your customers.
22. Monitor and ensure quality customer service to customers.
23. Investigate and resolve all customer complaints promptly. Evaluate source of problem and participate in the resolution process with all involved parties.
24. Seek out prospective customers through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
25. Convert prospects and leads into customers.
26. Build strong customer relationships through regular customer site visits and calls.
27. Represents the company in Conventions and makes business presentations.
28. Generates proposals and complete forms required by prospects and customers.
29. Represent company in an ethical and professional manner.
30. Perform other general administrative duties as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, marketing or a related field required. (Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.)
- Minimum 5 years increasingly responsible experience in sales to include extensive cold calling required, in the cleaning, industrial or supply chain industry.
- MUST have strong previous outside sales experience meeting monthly and quarterly sales quotas and developing new business.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to travel up to 50% within territory and/or and outside the United States for training, educational activities and / or Benchmarking activities. Frequently travel is outside the local area and overnight. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Ideal candidate would have proven ability to grow new business and source and hunt for new business opportunities and customers.
- The ability to deal with a variety of customers, both internal and external, in a highly professional and diplomatic manner.
- Must be a self-starter, highly motivated and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proven track record of cold calling and still willing to make cold calls.
- The ability to organize and to make decisions within established guidelines.
- Excellent interpersonal, telephone, presentation, oral and written communication skills.
