About the role:

Join Takeda as a Senior Scientist where you will contribute to the design and development of research projects with hands-on time at the bench. You will also mentor junior staff members and contribute to multiple programs both as subject matter experiment and project representative. As part of the Biologics Analytics team, you will report to the Associate Director and work with the Global Biologics organization.
How you will contribute:
- Work independently in the lab with at least 65% of time in the lab and thrive in team environment.
- Experience in assay development and data analysis.
- Functional area leader with strong expertise in biologics characterization including deep understanding of binding kinetics using SPR and other orthogonal methods.
- Antigen characterization not limited to binding only, antigen design and biophysical characterization is nice to have
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- PhD degree in a scientific discipline with 2+ years’ experience, or MS with 8+ years’ experience, or BS with 10+ years’ experience.
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience in hands-on analytical characterization of biologics is required.
- Experience with Octet, SPR, biophysical characterization.
- Experience as team representative for analytics on project team.
- Experience interacting with development team and transferring projects from research to development.

Boston, MAU.S. Base Salary Range:
$149,100.00 - $234,300.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
