H2 Performance Consulting (H2) is seeking a Senior Server Administrator/Server Architect to support overseeing and managing server infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
The Senior Server Administrator/ Server Architect responsibilities will include:
- Configure, validate, and maintain NHRC servers, ensuring that all DoD, DHA and Navy cybersecurity requirements and protocols are adhered to at all times.
- Maintain proper operation of the Windows servers such that they are operating to meet NHRC mission requirements.
- Develop and maintain backup and restore procedures to ensure minimal server downtime.
- Support a multi-site, multi-platform virtualized and stand-alone Windows environment in order to meet and maintain appropriate service levels.
- Implement testing, tuning, configuration and setup of virtual and stand-alone Windows architecture.
- Support common server applications.
- Properly install service packs and updates in a timely manner and ensure that servers are always operational.
- Create and maintain appropriate documentation related to server administration tasks.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Clearance: Minimum SECRET clearance
- Security: Must have Security + or higher DoD authorized certification (CompTIA Security+ CE, CASP+ CE, CISA, CCNP Security, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCSP).
- Education: Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science is preferred
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience with Windows Server including managing and administration of virtual and backups systems, data migration projects, print servers, Active Directory, DHCP and group policies
