Summary:
At RUSH Digital & Information Services (D&IS), we are expanding our Service Now footprint and implementing the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) module. As a Senior Service Now Developer, you will be a key member of the Strategy & Planning – Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) team with the opportunity and responsibility to design, develop and expand the SPM modules on the ServiceNow Platform. You will work closely with the Service Now Platform Lead, Product Owners, Portfolio and Project Leaders and Business System Analysts to understand detailed requirements for SPM and own your code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of the high-quality product to D&IS end users.
Responsibilities:
• Develops and recommends SPM workflows, configurations, customizations, and applications, per best practices to meet business needs. Provide configuration options to meet specific Requirements, identifying respective Pros and Cons for each option.
• Support ServiceNow SPM module through monitoring, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and implementing Bug-Fixes.
• Utilize ServiceNow Plugins/Automation tools to build Innovative Solutions for SPM.
• Review and groom user stories to understand requirements and technical architecture documentation for solution and lead the following design and development and deployment of solutions across non-PRD and PRD environments.
• Provide training for SPM or other Service Now modules/functionality both in person and through using other methods and maintain end user documentation as required.
• Document, maintain and update policies, procedures, and controls for the operation of the ServiceNow SPM platform.

Required Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline.
• Proficient in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Minimum 5-10 years of ServiceNow Development and Design experience on ITSM and ideally SPM suite, documenting requirements, designing, and building in a ServiceNow enterprise environment.
• Must have completed at least 2 implementations of SPM within ServiceNow.
• Experience or knowledge or certifications with various ServiceNow modules like SPM, ITAM, ITOM, ITIL, CSA Certification, Implementation Specialist Certification.
• Having exposure to integrations and developing complex solutions; Experience with ServiceNow scripting languages.
• Expertise and experience in ServiceNow, ideally certified as a ServiceNow Developer and/or Administrator.
• Experience utilizing techniques and tools including HTML, XML, CSS, SQL, or JavaScript.
• Ability to lead client discussions, organize backlog grooming and run scrum calls and agile based methodology of software development.
• Experience working with and mentoring Service Now technical junior resources.
• Excellent written and verbal Communication Skills.
• Can operate independently or with minimum supervision.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work product.
• Analytical, decision-making, problem-solving abilities.
