It is our firm belief that adherence to these principles culminates in the production of superior quality products.What you will do:Partner with a team of high-performing engineers and developers who are focused on delivering best in class software productsFunction as a Change Agent to introduce and evangelize our shift to a SecDevOps culture, solving for security, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and observabilityBuilding Zero trust security designs and adapting DevSecOps mindset when building new services.Cultivate an automation-first attitude and work to champion code-centric solutions throughout our department to improve velocity and deliverabilityParticipate in the design process, representing, solving and planning for security, reliability and cost effectiveness prism in the product roadmapCollaborate and communicate with cross-functional colleagues belonging to the same job family to drive SecDevOps centric cross-org initiatives, tooling and standardsParticipate in incident response in collaboration with application owners and the platform teamBuild tools that empower capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning.Develop tooling that enable our product teams through self serviceThink implementing long-term solutions that are complete mechanisms by building tools, driving adoption and inspecting results for tuningWhat you bring to the role:At least 7+ years of experience as SRE, DevOps or equivalent engineering rolesAt least 3+ years of strong production experience with AWS At least 1 year of hands-on experience with ArgoCD.Strong hands-on experience in Infrastructure-as-Code and Configuration management tools and technologies: Terraform, Helm, AWS CloudFormation, AnsibleStrong hands-on experience with at least one language for automation - Bash, Python, Golang, etc.Experience deploying Serverless application using SAMStrong hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelinesStrong hands-on experience in Linux architecture, microservices and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)Strong hands-on experience with application monitoring tools (Coralogix, New Relic, DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)Experience working on infrastructure projects in an Agile environmentGreat communication, collaboration and presentation skillsAbility to team up with people from different disciplines and drive for a win-winAbility to adapt and build security orchestration and automation at scaleAdditionally, following optional qualifications ( will be a huge plus):Experience managing infrastructure and configuration of Data Platforms in the Cloud - Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Mart, Graph Database, Time Series Database, Object Store, etcExperience in Spark with Python or ScalaPreferred skills:Proficient with Argo Workflows for designing and managing complex workflows in Kubernetes environments.AWS CertificationCKA/CKAD Certification$175,000 - $200,000 a yearThis is a structured hybrid role based out of our Glendale, CA.
