About the Job
McKinsey and Company Inc. US is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Atlanta, GA. Develop cloud-native applications, create user-facing web applications, handle backend data processing, design database schemas, and manage data migration. Work with Product Security Review team and ensure application security through authentication and authorization mechanisms and application follows security standards. Develop new features and enhancements, as well as conducting automation testing to ensure the quality and reliability of the software applications. Optimize the cost of software applications and refactoring code to improve overall solutions. Develop, design code, and test critical software solutions that are used by firm members, legal stakeholders, and clients. Ensure that these solutions are performant, secure, and capable of meeting the evolving needs of the business. Participate in all stages of development, including coding, designing, documenting technical solutions, and developing CI/CD pipelines for deploying databases to different cloud environments such as DEV, QA, and Production. Improve and optimize existing solutions. Collaborate with UI/UX teams, stakeholders, and product owners will be necessary to gather and research new business requirements. Telecommuting permitted.
Qualified applicants for this position must possess a Masters degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field or foreign degree equivalent.Qualified applicants for this position must have a minimum five (5) years of software development experience. Experience must include the following: Programming Languages: Java, PL/SQL and Python; Application platforms: SharePoint, Slack and ServiceNow; JAVA J2EE Technologies: JDBC, JSP, Servlets, EJB, SOAP and RESTful Web Services; Frameworks: Spring 3.0, Java Page Flow, Spring boot MVC framework; Cloud: Cloud Native App Development with cloud services: AWS, Azure, or GCP; Container services: Kubernetes (GKE, EKS, K8s) and Docker; Build Tools: Maven, Ant, Gradle, GitHub, Frog, CI/CD pipelines; Databases: Oracle, Sybase, DB2, Teradata, Microsoft SQL, Dynamo DB, Aurora DB; Scripting: HTML, XML, JavaScript, typescript, Angular, React JS and Node JS.
