Role Description

Elemica is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer who is responsible for building the next-gen solutions for some of the largest companies in the world. You will work as a senior front-end user interface developer and contribute to server-side APIs development as well. You will work closely with UX/UI designers and graphic designers to ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency. Youll be involved in all the phases of the product development lifecycle including the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of new and existing features. Your work will impact the stability and quality of our applications. Ultimately, youll be the driving force behind all the activities frontend to backend. You should be able implement solutions that are responsive and efficient. You should be a systems thinker and solver of complex challenges, always seeking new ways to achieve better results for the team and customers through your professional strengths.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver robust, scalable, and secure distributed software systems spanning edge and cloud.

• Develop web and smartphone-based secure user interfaces in Angular using typescript, SASS, CSS, and HTML5 with material design.

• Apply knowledge of Object-Oriented Design, Software Design Patterns, and Java coding principles to program and integrate REST APIs

• Database design, data modelling, and integration of database with the application layer

• Work with modern tooling (Eclipse / IntelliJ, Maven, Git, SBT, etc.)

• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Should have experience with testing and debugging.

Experience and Skills Required

• 6+ years of software engineering experience in an enterprise software environment.

• Experience in frontend technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, SASS, CSS, Angular, Web Components and responsive design.

• Experience in building applications in Angular-Material.

• Experience in reactive Programming..

• Experience with complete SDLC and Agile in an enterprise software environment.

• Experience developing applications using Java technologies and frameworks like Spring Boot, Play, Akka, API Gateways.

• Excellent knowledge of enterprise system architecture patterns including data modeling, database design, SQL, performance monitoring, tuning, and unit testing.

• Excellent knowledge of enterprise system architecture patterns.

• Ability to write unit tests (TDD practices) for backend and frontend services.

• Good Communication skills.

• Support junior developers’ work.
