About the Job
The Swift Group is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. Network infrastructure engineering services are comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery. This is a fast paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience to provide solutions on one of the most complex and high profile programs within the government.
This position is located in the Dulles, VA area.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of sixteen (16) years relevant experience with Bachelor's or Master's degrees
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow Development Platform including, but not limited to, ITSM, ITOM, PPM/SPM, HR Module, Customer Service Management (CSM), Asset Management, Change Management, Customer Development, etc.
- Proven significant success developing ServiceNow products using JavaScript and other coding applications
- Database Administration (Oracle or MYSQL) experience
- Ability to efficiently and appropriately estimate work effort requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal methods
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Able to adapt to a constantly changing environment
- Aptitude and willingness to work with variety of newer emerging technologies/tools as opportunities demand
- Ability to deliver enhanced functionality, aid with new implementations, and provide continuous support within the scheduled time while preserving system integrity required
- High degree of initiative, creativity, and technical ability to function on this team required
- Ability to identify issues and implement corrective actions
- Should work toward achieving ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) cert while on task
- BA/BS Degree or five additional years' experience in lieu of a degree
- US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
Desired Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- The ideal candidate would also have IT project management experience, and be familiar with Scrum, Lean, Agile and DevOps.
- Experience with Java, Ruby, DevOps and DevSecOps

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00

Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
