- Design and develop core security and compliance automation solutions to allow Apple to grow
in a secure fashion
These are automation tools and services that will:
- Anticipate and prevent failures
- Reduce signal to noise in alerts, monitoring, and tracking
- Track, monitor, mitigate, and report
- Contribute to the design of software security hardening projects
- Implement project tests to cover relevant security properties, creating unit tests and
collaborating with teams as necessary
- Contribute to documentation and training materials required for partner teams to maintain
security properties going forward
Communicate empathetically and effectively during all
project phases
Interpersonal skills are key to this role, as your work will frequently involve
other organizations as our representativeMinimum QualificationsRequires at least 7 years of relevant work experienceExpertise in more than one programming language - Shell, Python/Django, GolangExpertise with Unix(es) - Linux, AIX, Solaris, FreeBSDExperience in Agile development and secure SDLCPreferred QualificationsSuperior organizational and communications skillsPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range
This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role
The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs
Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan
