About the Job
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
- 3 years and above of experience with software development in C++.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities
- Optimize performance of hardware crypto offload protocol that is used in the majority of Remote Procedure calls at Google.
- Deliver hardware crypto offload to new NIC platforms.
- Deliver security design and implementation for the next generation of Machine Learning (ML) switching platforms.
- Deliver security design and implementation for the next generation of Google's top-of-rack switches.
