You'll experiment by yourself or by working in tandem with hiring managers to reach out efficiently to potential candidates.Find or create new sources of talent
LinkedIn might be a good tool, but you'll always look for new and unique ways to source candidates.Screen candidates
You'll serve as the filter of the top of the funnel to increase the hiring team’s time and focus on interviewing the best candidates.Juggle a variety of roles at once
At any given time you could be managing the pipelines for and working on filling 5-10 (or more at times) open roles.Assist with developing job posts, hiring plans, and rubrics
You'll work with the hiring manager to tighten up job descriptions, screening rubrics, and guide the hiring process along the way.Iterate on candidate feedback
You'll smooth rough edges in the recruiting process by iterating on feedback from candidates or other signals.Cultivate relationships with individuals and groups
You'll help build personal relationships through introductions, references, or by facilitating participation with community groups.Emphasize diversity
You'll look for proven traditional and creative methods to bring new points of view to the team.Team members in this role are required to be within commuting distance of our San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, or Seattle hub.ð YouCurious about who thrives at Whatnot? We’ve found that low ego, a growth mindset, and leaning into action and high impact goes a long way here.As our next Technical Recruiter you should have 6+ years of technical recruiting experience in high-growth startups, specifically supporting engineering teams, plus:You have previously evaluated candidates for a range of technical roles, across multiple levels, including technical leadership
You enjoy the challenge of finding world-class talent for hard-to-fill Software Engineering, Security, and Infrastructure roles. You're comfortable operating as a full-stack recruiter
You're able to manage the entire process of a candidate end to end. You're a sourcer at heart
You enjoy sourcing for your positions and take pride in nurturing and building relationships with passive talent. You're comfortable with ownership

At Whatnot, we believe hiring and fostering a diverse team is the key to building a successful business. ðCompensationFor Full-Time (Salary) US-based applicants: $150,000/year to $195,000/year + benefits + equityThe salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position
Final salary will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills and expertise
