How You Will Make an Impact
The Senior Treasury Analyst will be responsible for accurately processing and reconciling all bank activity and various general ledger accounts, as well as being the main point of contact for the corporate cards. This requires close and professional communication with the General Ledger Manager, Financial Reporting Manager, and Vice President of Accounting and Controller.
As the Senior Treasury Analyst, you will maintain a clear line of communication with team members regarding bank account details, corporate cards, journal entries, and account reconciliations in a timely manner.
This role will be based onsite at our Headquarters in Austin, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day-to-day management of the treasury function, including positive pay exceptions, bank account maintenance, and transferring funds between accounts
- Weekly responsibilities include partnering with the Accounts Payable and payroll teams to upload Positive Pay files, upload ACH's, enter wires, and send cash balance sheets to management
- Manage the life cycle of corporate credit cards from ordering and deactivating cards, adjusting limits, helping with employee questions or issues, and making admin changes to the site when needed
- Monthly close preparation duties such as journal entries and monthly reconciliations of the bank accounts and Amex clearing accounts
- Responsible for following procedures and systems for the Accounting department
- Ensure internal controls are adequately operating and followed, and all related documentation is properly maintained, for GL reconciliations and bank processes
- Run and deliver accurate ad hoc reports from Epicor requested from internal customers including actual spend and budget data
- Field questions and prepare data for internal and external audits
- Work with other departments to develop and implement process improvements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is preferred
- 5+ years of experience working in the general ledger or treasury function
- Intermediate Excel skills including Pivot tables, V lookups, Index Matching and Mid Formulas
- Strong attention to detail and retention of pertinent information
- Financial /ERP information systems (Epicor and DocStar preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
